The WLSFA is very excited to announce the Debut of our Documentary Film entitled “Surviving to Thriving” On OCTOBER 2 at 7 PM PST We will debut the film on the web at BariatricTV and we ask you gather in small groups, invite fellow WLS peeps over to share the experience and the post a response video review at the WLSFA You Tube Channel.
The film was crafted by Micheal Towe 
of BariatricTV. You can expect an emotional, complex, powerful moving story of Morbidly Obese Identical Twin Sisters Rosemary and Connie and their lives as they travel different paths, one received weight loss surgery, one denied over and over again. The film will illustrate the complexity of Morbid Obesity and the fight to escape its fate.This is such a great opportunity for our virtual community to come together across the country. No travel required just an internet connections and some party favors. So please consider hosting a party and start inviting your WLS Friends and supporters over! Take pictures too, we will post them here on the web site after the event.

We expect to sell out and we anchorage to to book early! All proceeds of the event go to funding our Surgery Grants! The first 80 people to buy their ticket and book their room are automatically entered into a drawing to win a MONTH of The Fresh Diet! That is Freshly Prepared Gourmet Food ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Two Snack and Dessert ) Delivered to your Home or Office 7 days a week for a month and they have WLS Friendly Menus. The love these two sisters share is amazing. I can’t even imagine being denied over and over like Connie. How incredibly difficult it must have been for Rosemary – having all these wonderful things in her new life, but still feeling so sad that Connie couldn’t share in that.
