Hello everybody, My name is Laura and I had gastric bypass RNY on 12/21/2010. I had been thinking and researching it for about 3 years and finally got the courage to go through with it and now that I’ve done it I can say that it’s the best thing I have ever done in my life. I finally am able to be part of my 3 kids life and not just watch them from the side lines. This process has been a bit easier for me because my mom had wls as well. She had VSG on 10/12/2010, it’s very nice to have someone so close to me understand exactly what I am going thru and I what she is going thru. It’s also nice to get all the clothes she under grows :-). Life is good!
